With the Cannes Film Festival in full swing, the beaches of Cannes are a place to see and be seen.  La Croisette, the boulevard featuring the Palais Des Festivals on one end, is a graceful curve of beautiful beaches.  Featuring fine, white sand, tall, swaying palm trees, and Mediterranean sunshine, the beaches are gorgeous.  Many beaches are private, offering luxury amenities such as beach lounges, umbrellas, activities and fine dining.  But the most prominent attribute of the beaches of La Croisette is the beautiful people.  Celebrities abound, sporting high fashion and completing the glamorous, sophisticated atmosphere.  Hot beaches include Le Majestic, ZPlage beach-restaurant and Carlton Beach.
