Cala Mariolu is in an inlet at the base of majestic limestone cliffs,
and accessible by sea (or very adventurous hike). The beach is composed of smooth white pebbles,
and scattered with large boulders. The
water is calm as can be, like a deep, crystal-clear, turquoise pool. It’s shallow and perfect for wading or for
children to play in.
Amenities are scarce here, so be sure to pack a picnic and
bring lots of water. Outside of that,
what more could you need? A swimsuit,
some sunscreen, and a whole day to take in the beauty of Sardinia’s Costa
